Pawel Oleszczuk

I am a photographer and singer-songwriter from Poland. I have left big cities and their opportunities to live with my family in a small village in the land of lakes and woods. I wander a lot with classic and digital cameras and everything I do comes from these expanses and wandering itself.

Music I play and photography complements each other because my perception of surroundings and reception of tune provoke similar feelings and emotions in synesthetic ways. Beauty and rich history of Warmia where I live inspires me as well as music I listen to. I think you can find a lot of music in my photos, even if I didn't put it there intentionally. Photography allows me to show particular moments and places developed in a way I saw them through music, feelings, and emotions inside me.

I have graduated in journalism and culture studies. In 2019 I finished Trójmiejska Szkoła Fotografii - a photography school in Gdynia, Poland.
