Precilia Meirisa

Precilia Meirisa (b. Jakarta, IDN, 1989) is a self-taught artist. Words like minimalist, modern, abstract, are often used to identify her works. Her process derives from her interest around landcape, floral, and insects. Being aware to the beauty of simplicity of anything around her enables Precilia to find a starting point in her works. Precilia attempts to communicate it with simple shapes, earthy, and soft colors.

Precilia has graduated as a bachelor of Communication. Since 2019, she has been focusing on arts, in order to explore many technique, interest, and identity. She's also start to build her own line called Pajang Art, not limited to acrylic and watercolor painting but also fiber art. In addition, she plays the role as a freelance painting teacher at an art institution in Jakarta.
