Marcel Prevaritura

I was born and raised in Reșița, a small town in the South-Western region of Romania. I am currently living and working in Germany.
I have always loved to draw and paint. Ever since I was very young, art was part of my life and drawing was a relaxing and enjoyable activity. The town in which I was born and raised is situated in a beautiful area in between hills, with meadows, rivers and even a (sometimes snowy) mountain. I enjoy city life just as much as nature and countryside and all the experiences have influenced my journey in the art world.
My artworks often have a playful side. They speak about everyday experiences, storytales, childhood, about our thoughts and desires and life with everything that comes with it. I treat creating art like writing in a diary. Creating is part of my day to day activity. My art speaks about the mundane life, with all the things that we encounter, real events or just fragments of our imagination.
