About The Artwork
Pulling inspiration from the movie "Pretty Baby", the New Orleans Red Light District was called "Storyville". I imagined that this room could represent Madame Lulu White's famous establishment, "Mahogany Hall". I'm excited to continue creating more collages that will hopefully represent the other upscale brothels on the 200 block of Basin Street "Down the Line".
