I am a freelance press photographer and handcut collage artist based in London, UK. My interest in creating paper collages came about in 2019. I inspired by the collages made by my 92 year old step-grandmother who spent her last few years keeping busy in her collage room and with her cuttings neatly organised by topic and theme. I am drawn to vintage imagery from magazines, books and old catalogues, sourced from around the globe. I also like to mix some of my photography and landscape images in some of my work. My work has been exhibited with the South West Collage Collective as part of their exhibition ‘Disruption’ (Summer 2021) and ‘Exquisite Corpse’ (Summer 2022). I have exhibited with The Collage Garden in Jakarta (November 2021). I have taken part in workshops with the New York collage ensemble and the South West Collage Collective and Kolaj Magazine. I regularly participate in the annual Februllage collage challenge on Instagram. I feel lucky to have discovered collage, a practice which brings me great joy and has introduced me to a wonderful group of inspiring collage artists globally.
