I am Yannik. Designer and artist. Raised in the periphery of the Rotterdam harbour. After many years of professional practice in the Netherlands as a graphic designer (identity design), I then lived for a period of ten years in France and Spain working as a digital artist. Recently I moved back to Scheveningen in the Netherlands to focus on art for strengthening corporate identity goals and my childhood passion: making portraits, unlike other! I make digital art based on photographs, grateful making use of imperfections in pictures such as resolution differences, unsharpness, glare, duplications, selection edge effects, etc.. Not the quality of my cameras is important - sometimes the basic picture comes from a simple mobile phone "‹"‹- but a colorful, rhythmic and striking image that moves people.
