About The Artwork
My love for dancers, and especially Flamenco dancers continues! I love the dresses, the movement, the beauty and the power. The moment I saw this reference photo I had to do this work and interpret it in fabric! Hope you enjoy it. I sketch lightly with pencil on canvas and the "paint" by cutting tiny pieces of fabric and gluing them to the canvas. Every line and dot is made of fabric. It is a single medium. I love the depth and texture that fabric gives to the piece.
