ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This 'painting' is an acrylic and paper collage on canvas. I like to think of this as 'painting with paper'. Using acrylic mediums and layering techniques, I carefully collage my paper drawings onto natural colored canvas to give the look and feel of working with paint. The overall look has a very printerly, drawn and graphic design feel. The variety of forms represents various symbols and motifs in my work.
