The role of women in society. Soft feminine strength and wisdom. Even in the Middle Ages. The poem "Gudrunlied" was likely composed in either Austria or Bavaria around 1250. It is primarily the story of Gudrun, who is abducted by the Norman prince Hartmut who desires to marry her. Gudrun remains true to her fiancé Herwig and eventually is rescued. The central topic of Gundun is reconciliation, prevention bloodshed and securing peace. The collage will be made on thick cardboard from newsprint and paper, old advertising brochures, magazines. Ceramics and golden leaf were also used.

Contemporary Austrian artist of Russian origin, Elena Vostryakova works with themes such as beauty, femininity, movement, the environment and the power of nature. She embodies her ideas through painting, collages of old painted paper and found objects, clay sculptures. As the daughter of an artist but self-taught, she seeks spontaneous, intuitive work, free from the intrusion of criticism and control. Her works are characterized by expressive lines and shapes, influenced by different cultures, and the combination of figurative and abstract elements. Elena always pays homage to her muse, Creative Wise Nature, by mixing shapes and materials and finding new uses for them. Her greatest achievements in art have come from a source of intuition and self-education, guided by inspirations from the natural world.
