Collage: wool on Wood.
This work can be thought as a border or a field, or like a boundarie between life and death, real and dream, past and present...
It is made by felting wool and tread to create a textile. The fibers of carded wool, thanks to the reaction of hot water and soap, stand up and overlap each other to create the felt. The material is irreversibly transformed, freezing time into the form, the drawing into the material.
My work plays with this organic materiality, a little animal and vibrational.
My work is pictorial without using painting. It recalls more than it represents, it invites hands as much as eyes in exploration.
