ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work can be thought as a field, or like a boundarie. It is made by felting wool and tread to create a textile. The fibers of carded wool, thanks to the reaction of hot water and soap, stand up and overlap each other to create the felt. The material is irreversibly transformed, freezing time into the form, the drawing into the material. My work plays with this organic materiality, natural and vibrational. My work is pictorial without using painting. Each work is laminated on a solid wooden frame.
