About The Artwork
Maria Felix was the greatest diva in Mexico; also known as Maria Bonita or La Doña for a song composed by Agustin Lara for her and the title of a movie where she acted. She acted in dozens of films in Mexico and many European countries. It could not be missing among "Mexican icons" Like all the artworks in this series, I have used fabrics of different textures to create the collage and then I painted the details.
