Gordon Dawson is a London based artist who has exhibited extensively in UK and across Europe. Working in hand cut paper collage, mixed media installation and single screen video. His work subjectively reinvents aspects of surrealism, pop and appropriation, blended with the 'uncanny' and a dry humour. Gordon has worked professionally for over thirty years as a self employed studio artist whilst also working in video production / editing, soundtrack composition and music production / performance, as well as sculpture / furniture manufacture for artists and architects. He has worked as a visiting art lecturer at Camberwell and Central St Martins art schools, London.
