I have always been somewhat of an adventurer having arrived to the United States on a board of cargo ship after living in England for a few years, having left the oppression of communist Czechoslovakia permanently behind. Once here I have soon revived my childhood goal of being an artist. I studied watercolor with Theo Hios, an enthusiastic artist from Greece. I then studied at the Arts Student League with a leading New York artist Knox Martin. I continued to work under his direction for number of years.
