THE PAINTING This work is a unique piece, a digital collage on canvas painting ready to hang. The artist created this artwork with digital oil brushes on a digital tablet that acts as a canvas taking advantage of the innumerable software possibilities. Then, the painting was transferred to a stretched canvas and signed. Only the original artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. THE ARTIST & HER WORK Adriana is a contemporary figurative artist who uses various techniques to attain her artistic goals. This characteristic makes her work authentic and recognizable. In her last artworks, the artist takes advantage of graphic software and digital brushes' unlimited possibilities. She combines elements of traditional painting with digital features to create a unique image and visual style. Her present work theme is the feminine aspect in all of us; she explores the intended, destined, karmic, desired, unwanted, stigmatic, cliché, proud, and suffering woman. Her modal is character creation as a metaphor for her former animation career. She explores these characters from different perspectives, as a creator and observer. With ever-increasing speed, our society continues to escalate towards a symbiotic union between humans and the technologies that we rely upon. This artwork's execution addresses the immersion of technology, a familiar subject to the artist, and her professional background. Cerrotti's palette is intense and highly contrasting, creating a compelling narrative strategy, which begs to be seen and absorbed by the viewer.
