Sabine Bandelin was born in Berlin and studied art, communication and photograph at University of the Arts, Berlin. She first started to paint still life and nudes with an expressive use of colour with oil and acrylic on canvas. The paintings were collected worldwide. She worked in a wide variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking and photography. Sabine Bandelin has recently moved to explore mixed-media painting and has developed her own technique in the medium. She has long focused on people and has explored themes of the emotional self and the female psyche. The process of artwork revolves around sensuousness, colour and composition.
