For me often a painting is inspired my music, by a great song, as for example Frank Sinatra's song 'That's life'. 'Ive been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king, I've been up and down and over and out and I know one thing each time I find myself layin' flat on my face I pick myself up and get back in the race.' THAT'S LIFE.... What more to say? That's passionate and powerful. That's how I want my art to be!

Besides my job as a dentist my heart always belonged to art. I painted every free minute, I wanted to capture the music of the waves, the fire of the setting sun and the hymn of the wind in my paintings. Inspired by visits of museums all over Europe my art got influenced by 'Informal Art'. My role models are Emil Schumacher, Anselm Kiefer, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Burri and last but not least I was impressed deeply by Jackson Pollock and Franz Kline. With my paintings I want to express a passionated joy about the beauty of life, the beauty of art and the beauty of the world. And I would like to draw peoples' attention on current topics and issues. I want to make aware of the problems of our time as environmental destruction.
