ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I created this work during the long lockdown during the global pandemic. After the initial grief, my mind turned to the positivities of the lock down, the ability to slow things down, to think about life's priorities. This is based on the traditional Chinese landscape, shan shui, which I was inspired by from a pre-COVID-19 visit to the newly open Seattle Asian Art Museum.
