Daniel Loagar (Bucharest, RO) is an analogue artist operating in a post-digital landscape. His practice treats obsolete technologies and discarded objects as cultural evidence: dismantled fragments, industrial residues, signage materials, collage and hand-built structures are reassembled into “possible objects”—hybrids between sculpture, assemblage, image and artifact. He works with a controlled tension between play and rigor: the humor and rupture of Dada, the hard edges of brutalism, and the pragmatics of workshop-making (wood, plexiglass, mixed media, light elements). Each work is rooted in material truth—visible joints, traces of use, and engineered fixes—rather than illusion. Loagar is also the founder of Celula de Artă, an artist-run gallery network in Bucharest, and his work has been shown in group and solo contexts in Romania and abroad.
