Contact us.About the Artist
Having established an international reputation in the textile industry as a designer of exquisite, contemporary florals, Rebecca Cole Coker has returned to her first love as a fine artist exploring the dramatic qualities of plant forms.
The life cycles of plants and their detail studies have led Rebecca to represent the familiar in a dramatic mode; eschewing the "˜pretty' in favour of the spectacular elements of botanical form.
Rebecca Cole-Coker trained in textile design at Chelsea School of Art, and fine art printmaking at postgraduate level at Camberwell School of Art, she has continually explored plant and natural forms throughout her career.
Rebecca's work is held in major international design collections and has been successfully exhibited in major exhibitions internationally.
