Administrators say call 211 instead fulfilling their fiduciary duties to uphold the laws of the state and to protect the rights of all citizens. 211 means on my knees at a homeless shelter over 100 miles away. 211 means criminal indigence. 211 means my rights have been sold and my body is now exploited on the marketplace. I prefer prostitution that puts cash in my own hands - not a third-party non-profit. If you don't believe me, explain why the homeless shelter is able to spend $1.8 million of $2 million of HUD-funded revenue on employee salaries and expenses. Explain to me how this is not creating a market of dependency. The market knows no such concept as non-profit. It does not reward good intentions. The market is driven by one thing only: profit.
