ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In the soft, golden glow of a sunlit room, a picturesque bouquet of sunflowers graces a vase, bringing the vibrant warmth of the outdoors inside. These radiant blooms stand tall, their faces turned toward the light, as if in a perpetual embrace of the sun's tender caress. Each sunflower is a masterpiece of nature's design, with a dark, hypnotic center surrounded by a burst of golden petals, like rays of the sun made manifest. They exude an aura of optimism, as if whispering secrets of happiness and hope to all who gaze upon them. Together, the bouquet is a celebration of life, an ode to the boundless beauty that the natural world bestows upon us. It stands as a reminder of the simple pleasures found in the petals of a flower and the timeless joy of bringing a piece of nature's brilliance into our homes. As the sun bathes the room in its gentle light, this bouquet of sunflowers illuminates the space with a resplendent glow. It is a living masterpiece, a testament to the artistry of the earth, and a source of unending delight for those who are fortunate enough to behold it.

Valentyna Rybkina was born in 1977. After graduating from National University with a Master's in Politology and Sociology, she started to oil paint in 2013 as a self-taught artist influenced by great artists like Aivazovsky. She invites you to remember with her paintings the sunny and happy places you may have visited or plan to visit again, to see how beautiful nature is. She hopes you can look at the colors of her painting, enjoy them, relax, and forget about your problems. Life is good ;) She is especially interested in oil landscapes (ocean and seascape) and has always been passionate about flowers - these are the main thematic focus of all her works.
