ABOUT THE ARTWORK

While on a flight to San Francisco to visit my daughter I took my iPad along. This is one in a series of digital paintings I created while flying through the air, clouds, and atmosphere. I love the fluid feels of this painting.

Cyn Macgregor (b. 1959, USA) is an award-winning American artist living and working in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her work is both highly abstract and highly happenstance, a dynamic that is meant to express that the idea of “perfection” is an illusion and in fact, is not a sustainable human condition. In Spring 2019, Cyn launched her new collection of artistic home goods that are sold online. She has live-painted numerous times at charity concerts where her artwork was auctioned off to help raise more than $1 million ensuring families have a safe place to live and thrive. Her work can be found in private collections around the world.
