Laurie Cairone has created art intuitively for more than 40 years. The artwork Laurie creates is inspired and influenced by her interests in the Universe, art for her own Health and Healing purposes, the Metaphysical world, and the integration for Mind, Body, and Soul connections. Laurie is a retired Registered Nurse who experienced a 32-year career in many health care specialties. Her journey as a nurse ended from an injury. She currently holds a Second-Degree Reiki Certification. Laurie believes that keeping our minds healthy with positive thoughts is essential to good health. Her art often reflects the introspective process. Her passion for Art is a therapeutic, relaxing, process to keep her mind active that gives her soul comfort. Being creative and practicing meditation allows her to let go of the dust that builds up over time. Engaging in Art is a healthy distraction for everyone. Exploring creativity can open the door to self-reflection that can help us achieve clarity and overall peace as we navigate through life. Drawing can be a sacred process of creating images from the heart. In February of 2022 , Laurie was honored to receive the FAA Tony award for artistic merit nominated by artist Zan Savage. She finds creating art a soothing process to her soul and considers it a form of meditation. Laurie has worked with traditional artistic mediums including Pastels, Watercolor, Acrylic, and Charcoal. Laurie is a very passionate artist who loves to also create digital art that is fun and resonates with her soul. Laurie is also incorporating mixed media digital and AI assisted tools into her artwork at this time.
