ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My time scuba diving in the US Navy throughout the Hawaiian Islands inspired this piece. A sense of flying… weightlessness, yet somehow still feels safe and solid. There is a visual hierarchy to the atmospheres informing us thru color and form.. the overall shapes. A sort of 1940’s surreal charm stylistically.

My story as an artist is a long one which began in Las Vegas, NV coffee houses and co-op art gallery’s in the early 1990’s when I was but 19 years old. I became an Ironworker and welder. Built Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Central Florida around 2000. I joined the military after 9-11. After exiting service I found myself not as whole as I once was and tried rebuilding myself which has become a daily process and spiritual awakening.
