Hi, I’m Red Betty, also known as Leanne.
I am the artist behind the creation of the Natural Quirks collection.
Born in Aberdeen, I studied at Gray’s School of Art. I now live in the north west of England with my husband and two young sons.
For almost two decades I have worked as an in-house designer in a variety of industries.
I now feel that the time has come to start my own creative journey.
The Natural Quirks collection is inspired by my passion for the natural world.
The illustrations are hand painted in watercolours and woven together with flora and fauna, using colour to bring fun and flamboyance to each piece.
I wanted to create something that the viewer could connect with, through characters and stories drawn from my own experiences.
