About The Artwork

Like songs, my images are meant to create a certain mood. The best way to do this is to listen to your favorite music, while you look at the pictures and feel where there are resonances. +++ So I stroll through the magical garden in search of spiritual lighthouses in the sea of green. +++ The combination of photography and painting I use to create strange and new worlds. +++ Interesting art not only for the walls of the wealthy. Digital duplication and advanced print technology make it possible. +++ A great print will beautify your wall and refresh your spirit. Take a look at the option: View in a room. I like this feature very much. +++ Please consider ordering a print through saatchiart rather than from me. I also just go to a professional photo shop and have a print made on the best paper they offer.... +++ I have marked this picture on the front with one of my signatures or logos and the date of origin. +++ If you want to be the only person who owns the digital data and therefore the entire work of art then please contact saatchiart and we find a way.

As a follower of Arthur Schopenhauer and the philosophical Buddha I like the unspecified, the vague, the non-concrete in all kinds of art and that is predetermined. Giving space to the ingredient of the viewer's imagination is what I want. +++ My parents had many, many art books, Hieronymus Bosch was my favorite. I was 5 years old and fascinated that there were pictures that were so much better than ours in kindergarten. +++ When I was in high school, art class was not worth the years of anticipation, the teacher was the reincarnation of boredom, the charm of my classmates were more important to me than Max Ernst, I was the only boy in the class. +++ Across the street from my school is the State Gallery of Stuttgart and during the breaks I looked at the works of Anselm Kiefer, Joseph Beuys, Oskar Schlemmer, and all the others… +++ I know what I like and what I don't like and what I don't like, I leave out. +++ Reduction is the theme of my art and my life. +++ As a product of a culture and a recipient of an environment I reproduce in different media what I have experienced and processed. +++ But I can't always do the same thing, because there's so much to try out. +++ So there is no red thread, except: If art did not exist I would have already returned to the cycle of rebirth. +++ Create art by letting it happen - that is my credo. +++ Would Marcel Duchamp agree with me as the inventor of the readymades? +++ There is art to beautify our living rooms as well as our head rooms. +++ I'm a researcher, painter, philosopher, cameraman in transition. +++ "I also like expressive brushstrokes" is my reaction, when I see the energetic works of a Jean-Michel Basquiat. +++ "I also like the unexpected" is my reaction when I see the energetic works of an Anselm Kiefer. +++ "I also like strange worlds", is my reaction when I see the strange works of a Daniel or Gerhard Richter. +++ "I also like strong colors", is my reaction when I see the colorful works of a Jeff Koons. +++ "I also like kitsch", is my reaction when I see the peaceful works of a Bob Ross. +++ "I also like romantic", is my reaction when I see the dreamy works of a Caspar David Friedrich. +++ "I want that, too!" Great artists take me with them in fantastic, limitless worlds.
