This work is inspired by the unique painting style and colors of Marc Chagall. This is often associated with surrealism, but is characterized by an independent lively color scheme and a poetic, almost dreamlike visual language. We often encounter doves, angels, lovers, roses, deep blue skies. The painting is strongly influenced by Jewish culture and Russian folk art. It can be interpreted as a plea for peace.
