The march against violence is the harshest. It is loud and still unheard. It is terrifying and still, the hearts of the merciful do not shudder. Before the cries against war become an ornament of history, the men, women, and children of the world need to march. The AI artwork is a haunting metaphor of the rally and parade of victims as loot of war. In the tradition of invasion, conquer, and raid, the tools, and uniforms may have changed, but the strategy is the same. Burn, violate, and own. Quleen Kaur Bijral is a faculty of English Literature at IIT Jammu with research projects focusing on indigenous folklore. She completed her Bachelor's in Science, shifted to a Master's in English, and submitted her doctoral thesis on subaltern history, orality, and memory.
