Tony Leone lives and works in Italy. Trained as a graphic designer, he is a visual artist and photographer whose practice combines pop art, photography, and contemporary visual languages, exploring the relationship between images, objects, and collective memory. His artistic work stems from careful observation of people and their surroundings, including portraits, everyday scenes, and symbolic details. For Tony, photography does not follow predetermined themes: every shot is an act of attentive listening, capturing the complexity of human experience with a direct, empathetic, and nuanced gaze. In parallel, his artistic production also engages with iconic images, everyday objects, and industrial materials, following an approach inspired by pop art. Cultural symbols and recognizable imagery are reworked into assemblages, installations, and resin pieces, creating visual juxtapositions that invite reflection on the meaning of images, visual consumption, and collective memory. His works and projects have been shown in solo and group exhibitions, often accompanied by critical texts conceived as an integral part of the work, in a continuous dialogue between image, word, and meaning. The common thread throughout his practice is the careful observation of reality and human relationships, expressed through diverse artistic languages.
