Pop Butterflies Series 10110 - New Media Digital Composition and Painting.* Although now almost totally abstracted, the work is based on various fabric and textiles designs I created a couple of years ago. The original, repeating pattern designs were bold and colourful with a strong pop art aesthetic. Digital 'Paint Tubes' have been added, layered onto canvas with alternating flat-painted pop art screen and fabric textures - See the close up detail images for a better idea. These artworks work well independently but also work well as a series.
