ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The painting symbolizes femininity, primordial strength, and protest. Despite having no eyes, the woman's lips, lashes, and eyebrows convey a sense of strength and determination. The green leaf covering the woman's body represents nature and the connection between femininity and the earth. The vibrant orange color symbolizes the power of the sun, which provides energy and sustenance to all living things. The painting depicts a girl without eyes, which can be interpreted as a symbol that she sees things beyond what her physical eyes can perceive. This interpretation suggests that the lack of eyes represents a higher level of consciousness or intuition that allows the girl to see the world in a different way. It implies that she may be able to see deeper truths or hidden meanings that are not apparent to most people. In this sense, the absence of eyes can be seen as a metaphor for a kind of inner vision or insight that transcends the limitations of the physical senses. The circles in the background represent the cycle of life, and the abstract figures suggest that the woman's strength is not limited to her physical form but extends beyond it. The vivacious magenta color that outlines the woman's figure represents the power and energy that comes from within. The painting overall communicates a sense of defiance, resistance, and strength, reminding us of the power and resilience of the feminine spirit. Title: "Protest of Primordial Strength"

The theme of my work is analyzing feelings and emotions, expressing them with colors and images. For me, art is a way to speak without saying a word. A way to shout across continents and cross borders, all without leaving my studio. Art knows no borders, for it transcends the pettiness of politics. My work allows me to be understood by others despite speaking or writing a different language, because art is the common language of humanity. Creativity is freedom. The freedom of the soul. Art does not simply reflect the world around us, it can be used to alter our world, even shaping entirely new worlds drawn solely from the imagination of the artist. Do not worry if you think you do not understand art. Art is not something you understand with your mind, but experience with your heart and soul. In a world where we are besieged by stress on all sides, we often find ourselves hiding our feelings not only from each other, but from ourselves as well. In my work, I remind others it is okay to have feelings; to express them and share them with those around you. I study all facets of experience and sensation, listening to the voices of both society and myself, looking deep inside to uncover the most closely guarded feelings and emotions. In my work I do not attempt to copy precise images like a printing press. I use simplified forms and silhouettes to convey emotion through colors, leaving room for the viewer’s own imagination to evoke feelings unique to them. Life itself is an inspiration. The diversity caused by the interweaving of emotions and experiences, whether positive or negative, creates a tapestry that is a wonder to behold. Life, all life, is beautiful. It is the most valuable gift one can ever receive.
