As with all my digital work, this is hand drawn. It is inspired by geological strata, but is representative of the tumultuous times we are living in, where massive upheavals are happening, though on a much more accelerated time frame. Martin Rayman grew up in Georgetown, Guyana. He studied in UK and returned to Guyana to teach at the University of Guyana. He studied sculpture briefly at the Centro d'arte Verrocchio in Tuscany, but is mainly a self taught artist. He is interested in / has worked in areas of painting, sculpture, science, mathematics, software, design and music. He now lives near the West Coast of Ireland.
