Inspired by the solace found in solitude and surf. Surfing is a form of play that requires you to continuously crash and fall, and get back up again. There are brief moments of bliss as a surfer rides a wave; while every other moment is characterised by struggle, discipline and resilience. I wanted to capture the art of discovering solace in such circumstances.
