Starry Night Digital Illustration Print

Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh is one of my favorite artists, he is a kind, decent, and very generous person. The Starry Night is one of the most influential artworks from his collection, hence, I decided to create a digital version of The Starry Night. I hope the viewers could see the beauty of the night sky inspired by the view from the window at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy, in southern France, where Vincent van Gogh lived in 1889–90. The digital illustration depicts a picturesque village nestled below the hills and the altered celestial shapes add a sense of glow. I choose to recreate The Starry Night to salute my love for van Gogh's works and to depict the beauty of stars in the nighttime. It is also an attempt to recreate the impressionism style digitally.
