I am Manu Martin, a digital artist and visual storyteller based in Kerala, India. My artistic practice is rooted in emotion—specifically the subtle feelings, inner conflicts, and quiet moments that shape human experience. I believe every individual carries an unseen world within them, and my work attempts to translate that invisible emotional space into visual form. My style blends digital realism with symbolic and atmospheric elements. I am deeply inspired by cinematic lighting, expressive colour palettes, and the poetry of everyday life. Many of my artworks explore themes such as solitude, healing, identity, the human–nature connection, and the search for inner calm. I aim not just to illustrate scenes, but to create moods and visual experiences that invite the viewer to pause, breathe, and feel. My creative process is intuitive. I begin with a mood, emotion, or personal memory, and build compositions around it. Light, texture, and body language play a central role in shaping the narrative of each piece. I enjoy creating art that balances realism with dreamlike symbolism, leaving space for interpretation and personal reflection. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, where I developed a strong foundation in design, visual language, and storytelling. Over the years, I have worked on various personal projects, digital commissions, book-cover illustrations, and online art showcases. My long-term vision is to expand my practice globally, connect with collectors around the world, and continue building a body of work that resonates emotionally with people from different cultures. Through every artwork, my aim is simple, to create a moment of stillness, connection, and truth.
