I take public domain illustrations and old banknotes from the 1800s, or further back, and chop them up to remix and repurpose them. All of this starter material is sourced from Wikimedia Commons. Then I draw over the remixed pieces. This is all done in Photoshop, on my Cintiq tablet. I have a thing for 19th century wildlife illustrations and ancient banknotes. I strive to make my Household Familiars look like authentic old documents. I envision them on people's walls, certifications of spiritual protection and luck for the household.
