The abandoned garden bench in a summer downpour It was raining heavily and walking across the park. I was hurrying to get home before the rainwater completely soaked my clothes, I came across this old garden bench cove red with the leaves and overgrown grass drenched by the heavy downpour. At first an ordinary sight but then I remembered it when I got home and what it looked like in that rain. The water raining down on the wet bench and the overgrown grass that covered it, all of it was a hazy image brimming with life. The sensation of wanting to reach out but I was holding back by the dampness of everything. There was this challenge at the translation of this feeling that I was looking at a living object but which at the same time was sitting there like an old person who time and life that have left behind them in the past that has gone by. The original artwork consists of a composition of three panels. The first and upper most panel has for size of image 41.5 X 60.4cm. The second and third panels the image is 41.5 x 30.2 an. The artwork itself is for sale in a limited edition of three complete works comprising of three panels each. Each artwork comprises of three panels with signature and a certificate of authenticity. The work of art the artist then manually and digitally printed it himself on special etching art paper of 310 gm using UltraChrome HD inks.
