ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The flying stag beetle is a scarab worshipped in European religious culture symbolizing good triumph over evil and in Ancient Greek mythology, it represents the metamorphosis of a musician. It is recreated here as part of my Goddess collection which includes famous gorgon's like Medusa, as well as symbols from both pagan and more traditional beliefs reinterpreted here as a power-symbol for the feminine. Please note, the gold foil is an effect, and not actual foil in the reprints. For 24K gold gilded options contact the artists directly.
