ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This original digital art was created from a freehand painting with black acrylic paint. I then digitally traced and made the art into a "vector". The vector can be expanded to any size possible without loosing quality or definition. I start by making a few marks with the paint brush in quick succession without thinking. The only conscious thought I have is composition. My eye "has to agree with my brain" as I progress. This means I want the result to be centred and even on the page, even through the randomness of the process. As I subconsciously create the painting, it's starts to take form.
