ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Here's the prompt we gave Midjourney: „Photo of the process that takes place in the text-to-image software with artificial intelligence at the first moment of generation.“ 17% of the images depict a person (once again, women predominate) and, surprisingly, a virtual, robot-like or cyborg-like representation of that person. What is the software trying to convey? That the virtual assistant is similar to us? Formally human-like? But for what purpose? We would let a three-legged round box help us too. Finally, take a look at the last image. The depicted woman (on the right side of the image) stands with her head in front of her digital copy and with her shoulder behind it. Is this a programming error or a playful gesture of artificial intelligence?
