I was trained by my mother to be honest. She went to Moore College of art but left due to racism. She poured in me the love of art, took me to classes. I realize now she was just seeking to enjoy her craft and teach me at the same time. Since the age of like five I have been at it, my first book Grey's Anatomy. At 5 in the shelter with my mom, then Milton Hershey as my mother was trying to seek a better education for me and shelter me from the streets. After Hershey I came back to philly with the crack era going on. Needless to say hardships are all I really know. I was expelled from my mothers house eventually, hard headed. Then the streets. Eventually I was incarcerated and released. Needless to say my honesty and continued honesty means that I have been an outcast within this very society that I was raised in. this has led to a different view or opinion. After many years and tales that I could tell I got homesick. So I made a piece of art to remind me of home.
