ABOUT THE ARTWORK
If I had not created my own world I would probably have died in other peoples- Anais Nin A charcoal portrait of the young Anais Nin at the age where she began to write her wonderful diaries, inspired by an old photo of her. It was important for me to draw the portrait in the same old style as the vintage photo with strong contrasts to make a dramatic effect to underline the young girls expressiveness and sensibility. The portrait is done on French Canson paper size A3 and will be shipped in a solid tube.
