ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The portrait of an African girl is drawn on professional red-violet paper Canson. Humanity often forgets that we are part of nature. Destroys the eco system. With this drawing I want to remind you that we are part of the world around us. We are all interconnected. That is why the background of the girl and the background of her dress are one. Against the background of her dress, plants are depicted as a symbol of the plant world, which is so important for us and our planet. The work took part in 14th Creative Forum of Fine Arts in Cairo. The drawing is made on high-quality paper Canson with professional colored pencils.

My name is Yevgeniya (Eugenie - it’s that's the french version of my name ) I’m from Ukraine. I was born in Odessa where did I get my art education in K. D. Ushinsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University. I am inspired by nature and people, and traveling gives me new impressions, strength and ideas. For more than 4 years, I have been able to combine my two passions - drawing and traveling. When I paint portraits, landscapes or plants, it seems to me that I am reflecting frozen Time. After all, tomorrow everything can be different. Each of my works is for me an opportunity to mentally return to this already different place, space and feel the feelings experienced again.
