I was born South of Africa, I lived there during apartheid and experienced the election of Nelson Mandela. Racism is something that I would never understand. The ignorance of humankind and the hatred they harbour because of the past. Africa has so much to offer but when uniformed individuals hear ab...

Apart from taking art at school, because I knew from a very young age I wanted to be an artist. I never went to get a formal education in arts as my father believed that artists only only make money once they die. As a creative there was other paths I could look into, and so I ventures into musical theatre by the time I could pay for my own studies. Soon the idea of being a pennyless actor didnt seem so glamorous and I decided to follow something that seemed more promising, it was promising because I had a passion for it. You shall reap what you sow' the saying goes. That is exactly what happenend. My works is a mix of Photography and Painting and drawing of my travels around the world and all other things that peak my interest. From a harbour in Hawai to an abstract of the Panama Canal. Colorful favela in Brazil or townships in South Africa. A bokeh of new years eve in Copacabana, this is how I want to express my experiences. As diverse as the different parts of the world. Each artwork should be a different experience from another, apart from those I do as a collection. I joined Saatchi a few years back but life was just to busy to focus full time on this platform. Then infortunate events granted me this fortunate opportunity to be able to create art on a daily basis and so grow what I can offer as an artist. To me life is like an abstract painting. Many times finding myself looking from the outside in. To make sense of this complex piece of art we call life.
