About The Artwork
Anti Social Media was inspired by the way in which Social Media has overtaken peoples lives to a possibly unhealthy degree causing experiences to be filtered through the phone culture we now inhabit in most parts of the world. Antisocial Media is a gentle dig at the way we respond to things posted on Social Media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. I hope viewers will feel a sense of recognition at their own behaviour and hopefully have a laugh. The style is my way of using the materials i have at hand to comment on the digitally perfect world and in some way subvert all the perfection it is built on.
