ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This autumn leaves drawing was inspired by a photo shoot I took in Milano - Italy. The clean background allows the deep red and brownish leaves color palette to stand out. The artwork is made with Polychromos colored pencils on Strathmore 500 mixed media 100% cotton paper. The large amount of layers of pencil pigments makes the leaves' texture so realistic. The cutout effect on the white background recalls the classic botanical art with a twist of contemporary touch.
