About The Artwork
This is a portrait I did of Miss Bailey Bass. I was mostly inspired by her role in Avatar: The Way of Water as Tsireya, but wanted to a piece of her as her natural self. I did, however, incorporate flowers and a butterfly that captured the essence of what the world of Pandora is all about. This was done with Ohuhu alcohol markers as the base layer with Schpirrer Farben colored pencils on top of the flowers to give a more vibrant and textured look. I used blue toned Strathmore paper in 9 x 12 inches, and gave it a coat of fixative to prevent any smudging.
