ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a A4 oil pastel drawing on 250 g/m2 natural colored paper, from the series of Completely Unplanned Drawings. The series is continued throughout my artistic life. I often start creating a new piece in the morning, but this specific image came to living mid-afternoon. The lines are smooth but very expressive. The whole thing seems to be moving, but it's just an illusion after all, right? Four bananas are waiting to be eaten. I don't remember if they were bought by me.

Drawing and painting invariably are my first and simpliest way to project and express my admiration for the beauty of what I am able to see. I create spatial objects for the body and the environment. I work in the fields of performance art, soft sculpture and costume design and puppets making. I look for those moments when fun exceeds certain established norms, becomes a misdemeanor and, consequently, changes its current definition.
