Alejandro Bárcena also known as the Vélfragor, was born in Mexico on 18 Julliet 1979. Artist in large part self-taught, he is inspired by classic illustrators such as William Blake, Gustave Dore, Leonardo Da Vinci, El Greco, Salvador Dalí, contemporary artists in the universe of comics like Burne Hogarth, Jack Kirby, Todd Mcfarlane Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazzeta, with mentor Humberto Barcena, his father, to create his particular style and very personal between the baroque and comics. In Digital Art, is the explosion of warm, vibrant colors that will be his signature reflects his passionate soul.
